Diana Beam and her family sailed to St. John from her home town in Florida in 1982 and built their first Coral Bay home while living aboard and cruising the islands.
Real estate has been a rewarding career for Diana and allowed her ample time with her two children and their many activities while supporting their schools and extracurricular activities. She served on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chairperson for Pine Peace School’s (now The St. John School on Gift Hill) auction for five years.
Diana has a background in banking that has meshed well with her sales of commercial and residential real estate. Her designations as Real Estate Broker as well as Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) are signs of her commitment to professionalism and to keeping informed of the latest trends in St. John's real estate market. Signature sales have included waterfront parcels, commercial complexes, many properties on the north shore and some of the most beautiful homes on the island.
Deciding to branch out on her own after 15 years of sales was a decision based mostly on the fact that much of her business was referred to her by other RE/MAX agencies. Finding the ideal in-town location, Diana opened up RE/MAX Island Paradise Realty in January 2004. Joining forces with The Bornn Firm, one of the territories most prestigious law firms with offices now on all three islands, First Banks Mortgage department, the territories biggest lender, and an affiliation with McLaughlin Andersons Luxury Villas, she quickly fulfilled her goal of offering full real estate services all under one roof. Her greatest joy has been helping others make their dream of owning a piece of this tropical paradise a reality.
Putting the finishing touches on her new Coral Bay home and with her two children now graduated from colleges in Boston and Savannah, Diana finds ample time to make RE/MAX Island Paradise Realty one of the top real estate agencies on St. John offering Buyers and Sellers personal service and sharing over 20 years of island knowledge. |

Jared Warren After Graduating with a degree in marine biology, Jared packed up and moved to the Virgin Islands to work for the National Park, explore the colorful reefs and sail in the fresh tradewinds. His passion for sailing soon led to a career of it when he became captain of the small tall ship "Breath". While working as a captain on a sailboat in the Virgin Islands, you are constantly in a prime viewing spot for looking at Real Estate. The magnificent homes perch grandly over the sea, and the vacant lots glow green in the sunlight. This made for many conversations with interested buyers. Combining his past experience working in real estate in Colorado and his family background in real estate, Jared chose to pursue his license in order to become completedly knowledgable and officially answer the charter guests' questions. He chose to work with Re/Max Island Paradise Realty because he knew that offering Re/Max's international marketing capabilities would help him better serve his clients. Jared has recently taken his own advice and bought into the local real estate market, capitalizing on the benefits of income generating property while enjoying healthy appreciation. The rental potential of many of the homes in St John is a real perk to owning real estate in the Virgin Islands. After living in St John for 7 years, one really gets in tune with the beat of the island.
